Food Safety & Quality

The Food Safety & Quality Department is led by Miriam Reid, a Texas A&M University graduate. It maintains a robust and thorough HACCP based food safety system. We are currently level 2 SQF certified.

The Valdez Corporation assures the safety of its products by completing environmental & food contact surface swabbing.Additional quality & food safety tests can be completed upon request to fulfill all customer needs.

Ingredients are only purchased from approved suppliers who consistently meet top specifications (70-100 vendors). Incoming ingredients are verified by quality control analysis and certificates of analysis from vendors. Ingredient lot numbers are traced throughout the entire production process.

The Quality Department can provide Certificates of Analysis and any necessary documentation of food safety procedures. Documents for shipping internationally are available.
