our story
The Valdez Corporation was founded in 1982 by Glennora Valdez. The business started as a small supplier of spices and herbs to local customers. As the market grew, the business continued to expand to meet customers needs. Spice blending was incorporated as part of the business to fulfill the needs of the industrial and foodservice industries. Valdez Spice became a private label company specializing in custom blending and packaging.
Quality Assurance and Research & Development departments were established to maintain higher quality of standards throughout the company. In December 2011, Glennora Valdez retired and Mike Hanks became President and CEO. Today, Valdez Spice staffs 25 employees and provides quality product to over 300 customers nationwide.
Valdez Spice has a complete line of spices, herbs, seasonings, and dry mixes; with product creations ranging from everyday items to the most specialized types of products.
